The startup AI based in Paris Mistral has launched a new version of its AI work and life assistant, “Le Chat”.
Mistral, one of the most funded AI startups in Europe, said the cat is available on application stores for the first time from Thursday.
The tool allows users to access news, download documents and follow their projects. Most features are free, while the professional level costs $ 14.99 per month. Mistral said he planned to make the cat available for companies with personalized models and available via private commercial channels like Slack.
“There is also a certain high confidentiality also where you can completely withdraw from any data recording, which is very useful for professionals,” the co -founder and CEO Arthur Mensch told Business Insider in an interview.
Mensch uses the cat to generate documents – and said it was a “useful combat partner when it comes to thinking about the strategy”.

Mistral said that this cat iteration, fueled by its low latency models, is its fastest version to date – offering an outing up to 1,000 words per second.
Users can generate photos, get personalized recommendations and even create their own mobile micro-application, said Mistral.

The appetite of investors for AI assistants has skyrocketed in the midst of sustained interest in agency AI – systems that can independently solve problems for humans.
Since its launch in 2023, Mistral has raised more than $ 1 billion in heavy goods vehicles such as Lightspeed, Andreessen Horowitz and General Catalyst.
However, its total investment is a drop in the ocean compared to its competitors in the United States, such as Openai and Anthropic, which have collectively raked tens of billions.
