Amazon’s Big Deal Days is essentially Amazon’s October Prime Day event, which starts tomorrow (October 10) and runs until Wednesday, October 11. This event is just the right time to kick-start your winter holiday shopping. These big shopping events usually feature some of the online retailers’ best deals of the year, and you can find some early deals now that you can take advantage of.
If you want to save a bunch of money before the holidays, now might be a good time to try becoming a Prime member, which you’ll need if you want to take advantage of Prime Day deals. A standard Prime membership costs $139 per year, or $15 per month. If you’re a student, you can get a Prime membership for $69 per year or $8 per month, and if you qualify for government aid programs, the monthly subscription price drops to $7.
With a Prime membership, you don’t just get free shipping. With your subscription, you also get discounts on Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music Prime, Whole Foods and Amazon Alexa products, and more.
Prime Day typically sees big sales on tech products (like phones, tablets, and smartwatches) and home products (like air fryers and espresso makers).
