Oracle shares rise 9% after Trump unveils $500 billion AI plan


LONDON (Reuters) – Oracle shares jumped almost 9% in Frankfurt on Wednesday after U.S. President Donald Trump announced the company would make a significant investment in artificial intelligence infrastructure, alongside OpenAI and SoftBank.

The joint venture, called Stargate, plans to invest $500 billion, Trump said the day before at the White House.

Oracle shares rose 3% after the close Tuesday, after ending regular trading up 7%, boosted by reports of the joint venture.
