Google surprised Pixel users by rolling out Android 16 Developer Preview 1, providing compatibility with Pixel 6 models and newer devices. Although Android 15 was only recently launched, this early release not only gives developers a head start, but also extends the Pixel 6’s update cycle, which was previously expected to end with Android 15.
This unexpected addition has expanded the range of support, allowing more users to explore the new features and performance improvements that Android 16 brings.
