Hours after leaking a Drake diss track that finds him taking shots at Kendrick Lamar and others, Rick Ross drops his response track to Drizzy titled “Champagne Moments.”
Rick Ross hits back at Drake with diss track ‘Champagne Moments’
On Saturday, April 13, Rick Ross delivered “Champagne Moments,” a disturbing response to Drake. The song, which can be listened to below, is a direct response to Drizzy’s diss track, in which he took lyrical shots at not only Ross but also Kendrick Lamar, Future, Metro Boomin and The Weeknd.
In the intro, Ross revealed an uncorroborated secret that Drake got a nose job because he didn’t want to have the same nose as his father. The Miami rhymer added that he no longer follows Drake on Instagram because Drizzy allegedly sent French Montana a quit letter.
Then, over a percussive beat and violins, Ross lyrically insults Drake by calling him a “white boy” and referring to him using ghostwriters. He also clowned Drizzy for leaking the diss track and for not addressing Ross like a man if he had a problem with him.
“Niggas leak their records when we talk straight/If we keep it gangsta, when you see me, check me out,” he raps on the song.
It looks like Rick Ross is ready for the lyrical battle against Drake.

Drake Slams Rick Ross on Diss Track, Ross Responds
Rick Ross’ response comes after Drake’s first diss track was leaked on social media.
On the song, Drizzy criticized Rozay for getting into his rap battle with K-Dot, Future and Young Metro.
“I could take your last girl and handcuff her like I’m Ricky/I can’t believe he’s going, this nigga’s 50/Every song that’s been on the chart, he got it from Drizzy /Worry ‘about everything that’s going on with you and ‘Huh!'”
Before dropping his response, Ross hopped on Perfect day to lead.”
Ross also posted a video on his Instagram Stories of himself laughing happily. And now we understand why.
