The Samsung update approach has been everywhere after a coherent update period in the past two years. Samsung’s internal tests on an 8 user interface based on Android 16 reflect the chronology of an IU 6, which was the last time that the company was on the right track.
Most of an IU 7 is, for the most part, in beta version. The Galaxy S25 is the only series to have the full version, and the S24 range has been beta since last year. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 also started to receive beta updates.
According to Tarun Vats on Twitter / XSamsung has launched internal tests on an 8 user interface based on Android 16. These tests are not accessible to the public and mark the business attempts to work on the next version of a user interface. This UI 8 test arrives a few months earlier than normal, according to the post. A user interface 7 was seen for the first time in May of last year, putting these internal tests for two months.
When an IU 6 appeared for the first time, it was apparently as soon as normal by two months, and it was the latest version that Samsung was right. This could simply be a new model intended to follow the publication hours of the software. Samsung was constantly late with a single user interface discount 7, and this test strokes did not start early. Hopefully this will put an IU 8 before the calendar for the whole chronology, although there is no guarantee.
An 8 user interface will not be available for users for a while. Samsung, ONE UI 8 surfaced internal tests, based on Android 16, are specific to the Galaxy S25. If history is repeated, an IU 8 can be available in beta around December.
