The McNeese Emergency Preparedness Team (EPT) continues to monitor Tropical Storm Beryl as it approaches the Texas coast. The campus continues to operate under normal circumstances. At this time, southwest Louisiana is not expecting hurricane-level weather, but any changes in the storm’s path could result in more significant impacts to our area. We recommend staying up-to-date with current weather forecasts throughout the duration of this weather event.

If the weather forecast for our area becomes more severe and results in a change to campus operations, EPT will send immediate notification to all faculty and staff via phone call, text message, and email, and information will be sent to local media outlets and posted on the McNeese website and official social media channels.
