SK’s booth at CES 2025 showcases AI technology and services under the theme “Innovative AI, Sustainable Future”
SK President Tae-won Chey and other key executives plan to attend to review cutting-edge AI trends and strengthen global AI partnerships.
LAS VEGAS, January 5, 2025SK Group, South Korea second largest conglomerate, will present this week at CES 2025 a project for a future made possible by innovations in artificial intelligence (AI). SK’s top executives will also look to strengthen their AI partnerships with major global companies.
At the world’s most powerful technology event, four SK companies – SK hynix, SK Telecom, SKC and SK Enmove – will operate a joint exhibition booth with the theme “Innovative AI, Sustainable Future”. The SK stand will be open January 7-10 in the central room of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC).
SK Group Chairman Tae-won Chey and senior executives of major subsidiaries, including SK hynix Chairman and CEO Noh-Jung Kwak, SK Telecom Chairman and CEO. Young Blood Ryu and SK Networks Chairman Sung-hwan Choi plan to attend. Chey and management will visit major domestic and international corporate pavilions to review cutting-edge AI technology trends and meet with leading global companies to strengthen cooperation towards building a robust AI ecosystem.
SK plans to present its business vision of “creating a sustainable future and contributing to the progress of humanity through various AI innovations.” SK executives will focus on developing services and technologies to provide a “total AI solution.”
At SK AI Summit 2024 In November, Chey said: “SK is a rare company in the world that can do everything from semiconductors and energy to building and operating data centers and developing services. » He outlined a vision to “accelerate global AI innovation by bringing together diverse solutions from SK and its partners to solve AI bottlenecks and bring better AI into our lives faster “.
To make the vision of the AI sector more tangible, the SK booth will include three main areas: AI DC (Data Center), AI Services and the AI ecosystem. Exhibitions will focus on demonstrations so visitors can experience various AI services.
Visitors will enter the exhibition hall through the Innovation Gate located at the entrance to the SK exhibition space. Through the 21 large LED screens decorating the Innovation Gate, visitors can watch videos of SK’s AI technology and services and the future changes they will bring.
Passing through the Innovation Gate, an AI DC (AI Data Center) themed exhibition area will appear. SK’s AI DC solutions (energy, AI, operation, security) will be introduced with the space centered around a large 6 meter high LED pillar expressing the dynamic data flow of the SK AI Data Center. SK will showcase its core know-how in data center configuration, such as energy solutions, HBM3E (high-bandwidth memory)-centric AI semiconductors and cloud services.
The AI service themed exhibition area will showcase AI-based service technologies and contents such as GPAA (Global Personal AI Agent), AI-based advertising production solution (GenAd), a multimedia processing and content quality improvement platform (AI Media Studio). SK Telecom’s Aster AI agent, scheduled to launch next year for the North American market, will be demonstrated and specific service plans will be announced.
Finally, the AI Ecosystem exhibition area will showcase AI solutions and services from five global partners (Gauss Labs, Lambda, Anthropic, Perplexity and Penguin Solutions) building an AI ecosystem with SK. Different collaboration projects with SK based on the unique technology and know-how of each partner will be presented with specific demonstrations. The Sustainable Tree, a large LED sculpture, will be installed at the exit of the exhibition to represent the theme of this exhibition in the form of media art.
The goal of CES is to show how AI technology is entering our daily lives with unlimited growth potential. As collaboration is key to AI innovation, SK will continue to seek opportunities to strengthen global AI partnerships.
