AUSTIN, Texas – The San Antonio Spurs invite fans to attend a pickleball game to celebrate the upcoming 2023-24 season. The first Austin event is scheduled for Oct. 24 at the Millbrook Pickleball Club, and tickets are $10 each.
According to a press release, “All proceeds raised will support Spurs Give’s ‘Play ATX’ program, which provides funding for ballpark and park renovations across Austin in partnership with the Austin Parks Foundation.”
Don’t have a racket to play pickleball? You can buy Tottenham branded rackets at the event.
Participants can choose from two courts for pickleball games.
The competition will be played as explained by Spurs, “After each game, there will be a junior pitch to rotate all four players, and an intermediate pitch where the challenge will be played, with the winning duo playing in the following rounds. Separately and meet up with the two new partners.”
In addition to pickleball, there are many more activities open to fans such as music by DJ DMoney, giveaways, food for purchase and more. Through the giveaway, you can win Spurs merchandise, a customized Spurs jersey, two tickets to a Spurs game and tickets to an upcoming MLS game in Dallas.

The event time is from 7pm to 10pm, more details are as follows:
- Must be 18 years or older to participate
- No pets allowed
- Players are encouraged to bring their own rackets
- Music by DJ DMoney, free soft drinks, merchandise giveaways, games, food with purchase and more
- All participants can participate in the giveaway by purchasing a ticket, but must enter the drawing to be selected as a winner
