Swift filled a “void” on the red carpet at the “Taylor Swift: The Time Tour Movie” premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Shortly before the premiere, Swift wrote on her Instagram: “I’m so grateful you guys wanted to see this video, which so vividly captures my favorite adventure I’ve ever been on: Journey Through Time,” and Adding, “The best part is, this is an adventure we’re still having together.”
Swift wrote in her post that the film will open early screenings in the U.S. and Canada on Thursday “due to unprecedented demand,” with additional showings added throughout the weekend.
The premiere took place at The Grove, an upscale shopping mall that houses a multi-screen AMC movie theater. The strip mall was closed to shoppers that day due to preparations for the premiere.
Swift’s concert film comes on the heels of her blockbuster “Eras Tour,” which hit more than 20 cities and is expected to gross more than $1 billion. She will resume her international tour on November 9 in Argentina.
The film, directed by Sam Wrench, was shot over three nights during the “Karma” singer’s six-night residency at Los Angeles’ SoFi Arena in August.

According to industry estimates, the opening weekend box office is expected to reach $100 million to $125 million. The concert film will be shown on AMC, Cinemark and Regal theaters, as well as on IMAX and standard screens in 90 countries around the world.
Tickets for additional screenings of the newly announced “Taylor Swift: The Time Tour Movie” will go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. (ticket holder’s time zone).
