IOS 18.4 brings several new features that improve the global experience of iOS 18. This is all you need to know.
March is almost finished, bringing together the planned launch of iOS 18.4. The update should arrive with a multitude of new features, in particular the management of Apple Intelligence in India, in particular for English (India). In addition to this major change, several other upgrades are expected, further improving the Apple Intelligence and the IOS 18 platform, and on iPhone 16 and older models. Here’s what to expect.
Users of the iPhone 15 Pro to obtain visual intelligence
Until now, iPhone 16 users have been able to use visual intelligence features via the camera control button. However, Apple now provides visual intelligence support to iPhone 15 pro Users also, allowing them to trigger the function using the Action button.
This is not limited to users of the iPhone 15 Pro. In fact, users of the iPhone 16 can also remedy the trigger of visual intelligence on the action button, so they will not be limited to the use of the camera control button.

Incoming priority notifications
iOS 18.4 will also present the support of priority notifications. As its name suggests, this feature guarantees that important notifications appear in a separate section of your locking screen, by reducing the chances of lacking crucial alerts. However, you will always be able to see all other notifications as usual. To activate this feature, access parameters> Notifications> Priority notifications.
New emojis
iOS 18.4 will also support new emojis, in particular:
- A new face with bags under the Emoji eyes
- Fingerprint emoji
- Leafless tree emoji
- Emoji with root vegetables
- Emoji shovel
- Emoji splashing
- Harp emoji
Possibility to break application downloads
This long -awaited feature finally arrives, allowing users to suspend application downloads directly from the Upd Store update list. Previously, the only way to take a break in a download was long pressure from the application icon on the home screen (being downloaded / updated).
Ambient music
IOS 18.4 will also present a brand new feature called Ambient Music, allowing users to play background music directly from Control Center. The available categories will include: well-being, cooling, productivity and sleep. These categories are accessible via Control Center or programmed to be triggered using the Action button from the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 series.
