HMD has arguably done a very good job with its line of devices. Unfortunately, the timing and frequency of updates has been a bit inconsistent, but ultimately the company delivers on its promises. HMD has now started its Android 15 rollout with the Pulse Pro. We have received reports of units already receiving OTA. It weighs around 3.12 GB and also includes the December 2024 security patches. The update promises big performance improvements, privacy and security upgrades, adaptive battery improvements, and advanced device control. notifications.
This OTA seems global, but it still comes in batches, so your device might not see it immediately.
HMD isn’t particularly good at sharing official update schedules, but we know of at least a few devices and device families confirmed to get Android 15.
