IOS 18.4 was supposed to bring new features of Siri Apple Intelligence, but Apple ended up withdrawing these update capacities to continue the tests. There are now fewer additions to intelligence apple, but there are still new features that will make the update that deserves to be installed during its publication in April.
Priority notifications
Apple introduced priority notifications during WWDC in June 2024, and this is another functionality of intelligence apple that we have been waiting for since the release of iOS September 18.
With priority notifications, Apple analyzes your incoming notifications and highlights those that are important, depending on the context and time. If you have ordered food and your order is approaching, Apple will highlight this notification as a priority, placing it above other notifications. The same goes for everything that has a time -based component, or something else that needs immediate attention.
Priority notifications are opt-in in the beta iOS 18.4 version, it must therefore be activated by going to the parameters> notifications> Prioriser the notifications.
When on on, priority notifications first appear in your list of notifications on the lock screen, in a separate box with an icon that stands out. You can always see all your other notifications by sliding.
Image playground
When the Image Playground application was launched, it had only animated and illustration styles to choose for the images you make, but there were always three options.
With the beta iOS 18.4 version, the third “sketch” option is also available. Sketch is a style that looks more like an image drawn by hand, and it is distinct from animation, which is a 3D style and an illustration, a simpler 3D image.
Apple describes the sketch as a “very detailed and academic” style which “produces magnificent drawings on austere backgrounds”, while the illustration style has solid contours, daring colors and simple shapes. Apple says that the animation style has a “whimsical 3D cartoon look”.
New languages
IOS 18.4 adds the support of intelligence for new languages, notably French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese (simplified), as well as English located for Singapore and India.

Apple has evaluated a beta version of iOS 18.4 to public developers and beta-testers. A second beta version will come next week, and it will be tested in beta throughout March.
Apple plans to publish iOS 18.4 in early April.
Apple Intelligence Siri characteristics
There is a chance that we can still see the features of intelligence apple Siri implemented in a subsequent beta version of iOS 18.4, but this seems unlikely since it is only one month until the update becomes.
Instead, Apple will probably add the capacities Siri in an iOS 18.5 update. It is unusual that the new major features arise in an update .5 because these updates often go out when Apple’s transitions focus on a new version of iOS, but it is not unknown. Apple gradually publishes the functionality ios 18, and we will probably see a similar tactic with iOS 19. Rumors already suggest that development ios 19 is pushed so that Apple can continue to work on ios 18.
