We do not get new features of Siri Apple Intelligence in iOS 18.4 as expected, but the next update has a lot of new additions that will be up to upgrade. We have gathered the five best features to hope for, and if you do not direct the beta version, you can expect to access it in early April.
Priority notifications
If you have an iPhone or iPad that supports apple Intelligence, iOS 18.4 adds the management of priority notifications, one of the features that Apple announced during the introduction of apple Intelligence during the June 2024 WWDC event.
Priority notifications first display your most important messages, highlighting them in a special section on the locking screen. Apple uses apple Intelligence to decide which notifications deserve priority status, and these are generally notifications of messages that must be visualized or responded imminently.
Deliveries to come are highlighted, for example, as are meetings that occur, calendar alerts for events that arrive that day, reminders that are due and messages that seem to need a quick response, such as an invitation to dinner.
Priority notifications can be activated for any applications or configured by application in the notifications section of the Settings application. In the beta version, priority notifications are not activated by default, and it must be activated, but this could change before iOS 18.4 is given to the public.
Apple also adds new languages to the intelligence of the point of the iOS 18.4, notably French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese (simplified), as well as the English located for Singapore and India.
Visual intelligence updates
For users of the iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 18.4 brings Visual Intelligence, a functionality that was previously limited to iPhone 16 models. Apple initially limited intelligence visual to iPhones with a camera control button, but with the iPhone 16e, Apple added an action button activation option, and this is also what is used for iphone 15 pro.
Visual Intelligence can be activated by binding it to the action button, but there is also a new section apple Intelligence in the control center which includes a visual intelligence button as an alternative means of throwing it.
The action button and the control center options for visual Intelligence can also be used on 16 IPhone models, so if you have a 16 IPhone and do not like the camera control to activate visual Intelligence, you can now use these alternatives.
New emoji
There are a handful of new Emoji characters who are available in iOS 18.4, and it’s always a big problem for emoji fans. The new Emoji characters include bags under the eyes, fingerprints, the leave-free tree, root vegetables, harp, shovel and splashes.
Ambient music
IOS 18.4 has a rocking of ambient music that can be added to the control center. You can choose from four different sound categories, including sleep, cooling, productivity and well-being. The selection of one of the categories of ambient music plays a random selection of sounds or music from this category.
There is no dedicated ambient musical application and you cannot choose what plays in Control Center, but if you play a category, then draw on the dynamic island at the top or access the widget now played, you can jump songs and see the name of what is playing.
Downloads from the App Store
In iOS 18.4, when you download an application from the App Store, you can suspend the download directly from the update list. This is a small change, but which is useful if you are in a situation where you have a weak signal and you have to do something else while the application download is in progress.
Before now, you could not stop and restart an application installation from the App Store interface.
Apple has also added the summaries of the store revision App, which facilitates seeing what people think of an application at a glance.
Bonus for Vision Vision Users: Guest Fashion Orders
Apple has added an IPhone application for the Apple Vision Pro in iOS 18.4, and it can be used to display information on pro vision, find content to watch and download applications on the helmet. Overall, it’s not super exciting.
What is useful, however, is an option to control the guest mode from your IPhone or ipad if someone uses your pro vision. When someone who is not collects your pro vision and puts it, you will see a pop-up on your IPhone. From there, you can choose the applications and experiences that the person will display, and you can use the Airplay mode to guide them through their Vision Pro experience.

Launch date
We are on the fourth beta version of iOS 18.4, and there are probably a few others. Apple plans to publish iOS 18.4 in early April alongside iPados 18.4 and MacOS Sequoia 15.4.
