President Donald Trump granted three co-founders of the Bitmex Cryptocurrency exchange, learned CNBC.

The co-founders, Arthur Hayes, Benjamin Delo and Samuel Reed, previously pleaded guilty to a range of federal criminal accusations linked to money laundering and the failure of the exchange.

Reed pleaded guilty of having violated the bank’s secrecy law in 2022 and agreed to pay a fine of $ 10 million.

Prosecutors accused men of effectively exploiting Bitmex as a “silver laundering platform” and that his alleged withdrawal from the American market was “a sham”.
