One side will seek redemption.
The other will fight for a place in history.
This is only the second time England have reached the Euro final. Their previous appearance at the final was a heartbreak. England lost the 2021 final at home to Italy at Wembley Stadium on penalties. Against Spain on Sunday, England will be looking to win their first major international tournament since the 1966 World Cup.
Spain, meanwhile, will be looking to win a record fourth European title. A win against England on Sunday would see them break a tie with Germany for the most titles in Euro history. Spain previously won the Euro in 1964, and then back-to-back in 2008 and 2012 (with a victory at the 2010 World Cup making it one of the greatest championship runs in international football history).
