A video posted on social media over the weekend shows a fight breaking out over a Carnival Paradise cruise ship as it returned to Florida.

The six-and-a-half-minute video shows chairs being thrown across a dining room and a group of several women locked in a fight, punching each other, pulling each other’s hair and dragging each other on the floor.

The incident, which took place last month, was filmed and posted on TikTok by @rizzarioman123. The video currently has over 4,000 views on the social media platform.

At one point in the video, security officers intervene to try to separate the women who are fighting. The women can be seen continuing to yell and threaten each other, even though they are separated by the officers.

“Welcome to America,” the man filming the video can be heard saying. The man explained that he had come into the dining room to get pizza when the fight broke out.

The end of the video shows the aftermath of the incident, including numerous broken plates and crooked furniture.

The ship has several restaurants and bars on board, as well as a water park and live entertainment.

The company has a strict code of conduct on its website and says any customer who violates this policy could be fined $500.

“No disruptive behavior is tolerated and any guest whose conduct affects the comfort, enjoyment, safety or well-being of other guests or crew will be removed at their own expense and prohibited from sailing on Carnival in the future,” the policy reads.

This is not the first time a fight has broken out on one of the company’s cruise ships.

In June 2022, a viral video showed a fight taking place on a Carnival Magic cruise ship near New York Harbor, requiring the Coast Guard to respond. And in October 2023, the FBI opened an investigation into a passenger stabbed aboard a Carnival Magic boat.
