The launch of iOS 18.4 will finally bring Siri’s eagerly awaited version that Apple has promised. In addition, this will give millions of people worldwide their first access to Apple Intelligence and will have other improvements to start.
At the same time, expect MacOS Sequoia 15.4 to offer many of these improvements to Mac users. The same goes for iPados 18.4.
iOS 18.4 promises a boost to Siri’s IQ
Although Siri was at the forefront in 2011, he did not follow the recent AI revolution. The kindness could call it limited, but everyone would be more likely to say that Apple’s vocal assistant is stupid as a bag of hammers. Especially in relation to chatgpt and other chatbots powered by AI.
But the long nightmare approaches its end. Apple has promised “the start of a new era for Siri” in WWDC24, thanks to a strong infusion of artificial intelligence.
The boost arrives in iOS 18.4 and macOS Sequoia 15.4, but it is not yet in beta tests, so all that we have is Apple’s promises::
“With an awareness of the screen, Siri facilitates the execution of an action related to information on the screen, such as adding an address received in the messages on the contact card of a friend.
“SIRI will be able to provide information suitable for the user and their information on the devices. These are certainly welcome improvements, but do not assume that Siri will become much more conversational with iOS 18.4 and MacOS Sequoia 15.4. Although it is a characteristic of Chatgpt or Google Gemini, a more conversational SIRI would not be on Apple’s file to a later version of iOS 19 in 2026. In the meantime, this will remain transactional – You will tell Siri to do something and he does.
Apple intelligence for billions of more people
Although the suite of AI Apple Intelligence tools is the brand brand of iOS 18, access had been limited. It was first launched in the United States, then extended to key markets like Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. And that’s all so far.
AI tools will soon detach from English. Apple CEO Tim Cook recently committed his business to make the Apple information available in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese simplified. The expansion would take place with iOS 18.4.

Expect iOS 18.4 this spring
IOS 18.3, MacOS Sequoia 15.3 and iPados 18.3 were all launched in January, and their follow -ups are still months. These next versions are not yet in beta tests, as indicated above.
But there is no mystery when they are launched. Recently, Apple has promised that the expansion of Big Apple Intelligence to all these new countries would occur in April. This means that we are 2-3 months old 18.4, macOS Sequoia 15.4 and iPados 18.4.
Expect the first beta for these versions to come very soon-maybe this week or even later in the day.
And note that these will probably be the latest important upgrades for months. The WWDC25 will surely come in June, giving the world the first overview of iOS 19, MacOS 16 and iPados 19. Expect them in the fall.
