Today is National Flip Flops Day. And in honor of the day that recognizes popular summer shoes, Tropical Smoothie Cafe is offering a giveaway.
To celebrate, Tropical Smoothie is offering a free 12-ounce Island Punch Smoothie to guests from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time. The Island Punch Smoothie combines peach, guava, passion fruit, mango and pineapple.
All you have to do is step out with your favorite pair of flip flops and head to the closest Tropical Smoothie Cafe in your area. It’s so simple. The cafe restaurant has listed all the steps and says, “Yeah, it really is that simple!” »

What is National Flip Flops Day?
The date of National Flip Flop Day changes every year, but it is always the Wednesday following the Memorial Day holiday. It’s a day to celebrate the unofficial shoes of summer and beach life. According to nationaldaycalendar.com, the day was started in 2007 by Tropical Smoothie Cafe to celebrate its 10th anniversary. You can wear your favorite flip flops and post images on social media using the hashtag #NationalFlipFlopDay.
