The Inglewood Night Market returns for the season Friday, promising 135 vendors, live music and a beer garden. The all-ages market is also a pet-friendly event, with three vendors specializing in pets.

Despite the event title, everyone is welcome at the Men’s Expo. It is a trade show showcasing sports, wellness, fashion, automobiles and much more. There will also be live wrestling matches and beer and liquor samplings. $1 from every ticket sold goes to prostate cancer research.

Calgary is hosting a big book sale

The Calgary Reads Big Book Sale is celebrating its 20th anniversary this weekend. The event is so popular that you have to make an appointment to attend the first two days. More than 175,000 books will be on sale, most costing less than $5.

Otafest is a celebration of Japanese anime and pop culture, and is so popular that Saturday is already sold out. There are still tickets available for Friday and Sunday. The festival will feature anime screenings, cosplay contests, special guest performances and much more.
