WhatsApp is working on the addition of management of movement photos sharing in cats and channels, according to the details shared by a functional tracker. The Méta-Apparue messaging service could soon introduce a functionality that allows users to share a brief clip with the audio and the video recorded by certain smartphones when taking a photo. This feature was spotted in the development of the latest beta version of the application for Android smartphones, while iPhone users should possibly see them as live photos on WhatsApp for iOS.

Movement photos, a functionality Supports on Android smartphones and can be captured via the application of the camera on selected devices. When you take a movement photo (or a superior shoot on Pixel phones), the handset saves a short video clip and a certain audio, as well as a motionless image. The iOS equivalent of this functionality is known as Live photos.
The functionality tracker was able to allow functionality support, and a screenshot of the next media coach (currently available for beta testers) shows a new icon located in the upper right corner of the context card, next to the HD button.
When activated, users will be able to send sharing sharing photos with other users of their Android smartphone. These images are currently shared in the form of static images, but an upcoming version of WhatsApp should allow users to share films (or live photos on iOS) in cats or on channels.
Although the capture of motion photos is only taken care of on Android smartphones, WhatsApp will allow recipients to see them on an unwanted handset, according to Wabetainfo. This means that WhatsApp is likely to include supporting the visualization of these images on all Android phones, while iOS users could see them as a live photo.
Like the other features that are currently in development, there is no word on the moment when WhatsApp will deploy this feature to the testers. Once it is ready to test, it should be available for beta-testers on Android, before it is deployed to all users of the stable chain.
