Microsoft highlights its telephone connection function to facilitate the matching and sharing of Windows to Android phones. The changes are currently available for those who execute the last construction of initiates and should extend to all users on the road.
Microsoft has announcement Three main telephone link upgrades with its latest version of Windows 11 initiates. To start, users can now associate a new Android or iOS phone directly using the dedicated shutter on the right side of the Start menu. This saves them from the need to search for the telephone connection application on their computers and makes the functionality more discoverable.
Once paired, the same component now supports the display of the battery level and the connectivity of a connected iPhone – a previously exclusive advantage to Android users. It also offers practical shortcuts, such as messages and calls, allowing users to control their phones directly from the start menu.
Finally, the telephone link panel in the Start menu now allows Windows users to quickly share files to their Android or iOS connected smartphones. To start, all you have to do is click on the new Send files Bottom button.
These three upgrades are included with the construction of preview of Windows 11 4805 and more in the beta channel and 26120.3000 and more in the DEV channel. You must also run version 1.24121.30.0 or more. In particular, the features require Bluetooth le and are not available on PCs that execute professional SCH or SKU.
