New York Liberty News

Confirmed composition: Courtney Vandersloot, Sabrina Ionescu, Kennedy Burke, Léonie Fiebich, Jonquel Jones

Chicago Sky News

Confirmed composition: Lindsay Allen, Marina Mabrey, Chennedy Carter, Angel Reese, Kamilla Cardoso

While Angel Reese’s 15-game double-double streak is one of the biggest stories in the WNBA right now, Carter’s rise since joining the starting lineup shouldn’t be overlooked. In 10 games since her first start on June 16, she’s averaging 21.6 points per game. That mark ranks third in the league over that span, behind only MVP favorite A’ja Wilson and Kahleah Copper.

Los Angeles Sparks News

Planned composition: Aari McDonald, Kia Nurse, Rickea Jackson, Azura Stevens, Dearica Hamby

  • Stephanie Talbot (foot) — Not on injury report

  • Lexie Brown (disease) — Outside

  • Li Yueru (commitment abroad) — Exit

  • Cameron Brink (knee) — Off season

Dallas Wings News

Planned composition: The Sims Odyssey, Jacy Sheldon, Arike Ogunbowale, Natasha Howard, Teaira McCowan

  • Jaelyn Brown (disease) — Outside

  • Satou Sabally (shoulder) — Injured

  • Maddy Siegrist (finger) — Injured

The Sparks-Wings matchup pits the league’s two worst teams against each other. Los Angeles is 1-10 in its last 11 games, while Dallas is 2-16 in its last 18 games. As expected, since June 1, these two teams have the lowest Net Ratings in the WNBA, with the Wings sitting at -14.7, 4.4 points below LA’s standings.
