One of the key changes in the voice user interface is a new notification that encourages users to increase their volume if it is silent. In addition, the previous transcribe and debugging menu, where users can access and define personalized instructions, is replaced by a list of selectable personalities. Users will be able to choose from options such as “unleashed”, “romantic”, “genius” and others. There is still uncertainty as to whether these personalities will come with different voices, which would be a cool addition. However, it is more likely that only one or two votes will be available at launch.

In the Settings menu, users will have the possibility of activating and deactivating the voice mode. On a smaller note, there will probably be an option to export user data in accordance with the RGPD requirements. In addition, the image editing function currently available on Grok for X will soon be accessible on the autonomous Grok application.
These updates are not yet available for all users. This includes features such as adjusting personalized instructions for ordinary Grok text mode and activation of the automatic spelling correction. The exact release date of these modifications remains clear, but we will see how it develops.
