XUZHOU, China, May 27, 2024 /CNW/ — More than 1,200 international guests from over 60 countries explored the rich heritage of Xuzhou, Chinaduring the recent Customer Festival of XCMG machines (ELLE: 000425, “XCMG”) The event included tours of historic sites, immersive cultural experiences and spectacular performances showcasing traditional Chinese culture.
The festival offered a diverse itinerary that captivated its guests from all over the world. Guests visited the Hui Long Nest Historical and Cultural District, a national-level tourist and leisure area known for its ancient charm with black tile roofs and stone walls. To enhance the experience of international visitors, an interactive Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) zone was created at the center of the district where guests engaged in activities such as lacquer fan making, rubbing of tablets of stone, sugar painting and the testing of Hanfu, traditional Han. Under dazzling lights and accompanied by dance performances on the boats, technology-enhanced visuals created a mesmerizing experience. Reflecting on the unforgettable moments of the Pangcheng Fenghua performance, Siyafa Kobusingye of Kampala, Ugandasaid: “I’ve never seen anything like it, it was a magical performance; especially when it started raining during the show, it was surreal.”
“The integration of light effects with natural elements like rain and thunder followed by a rising moon was breathtakingly beautiful,” remarked Kobusingye after witnessing this unique spectacle seamlessly blending past and present for 70 minutes.
